TEHRAN (Asremrooz): at the threshold of anniversary of Hazrat Jawad- Al-Aemmeh, Imam Mohammad Taqi‘s birthday we are going to express one of his maxim that includes very valuable points. He stated “if somebody oppresses you, do not oppress him, if he betrays, do not betray him, do not be angry if they do not approve you and do not be happy if they approve you.
The ninth Imam of Shia is Hazrat Jawad born in Madina on 10th Rajab 195 AH. His name is Mohammad and his title is al-Jawad or at-Taqi. His other title is Razi and Mottaqi but Taqi is his famous title. His mother name is Sabike or Kheizaran.
Imam Jawad was 8 years old when his father died. After martyrdom of Imam Reza at the end of Safar in 203 AH he was his father’s successor.
Ma’amun, Bani Abbas ‘s caliphs, as well as other caliphs who was afraid of inner spiritual development of Imam Jawad among people tried to put Imam under his supervision.
First he had planned to marry his daughter, umm ai- Fazl, to Imam Jawad in order to supervise him permanently. She always suffered Imam.
Mo’tasem Abbasi as well as Ma’mun had discussion meeting in order to suffer Imam Jawad as well as Imam Reza.
Despite of Islamic and non- Islamic sect development, science and technology development and available translation of books, Imam Jawad who had short life such as spring flowers participated in discussion with his divine knowledge and spiritual genius and extend Islamic rules as well as his father and paid for education and guidance to answered many questions.
For example one of his discussion is written here:
Zarqan who is Ahmad Ben Abi Davad’s friend stated that Zaraqan Said “one day Ebne Abi Davad got back from Mo’tasem Castle while he was really upset”.
I asked him “what is wrong?”
He said “in presence of Caliph and Abu Jafar Ali Ebne Al-Reza a discussion occurred that we were shamed.
I said “how?”
He said “a thief who had confessed was brought to Caliph”.
Caliph turned jurists and Imam Jawad who were present there then asked “what is Islamic punishment?”
I said “we have to cut hid wrist” caliph said “why?”
I said “because hand in Quran includes fingers and palm”. Some jurists approved me.
Other Ulama said “we have to cut his elbow”
And other said “maybe cut shoulder”
Caliph turned to Imam Jawad and said “what is your idea”
He answered “I cannot say “but Caliph insisted. He replayed “we have to cut his finger except one.”
Caliph asked “why” Imam said “The holy prophet stated “ Sajdeh must be performed on the seven parts of body forehead, palms, knees and hands. If we cut them he cannot say his pray.
Mo’tasem was happy and ordered to cut his fingers.
After that I visited Mo’tasem and said I want to recommend some things due to all your kindness. If you will continue your discussion in the public and you reject Ulama’s idea and confirm Al-jawad’s opinion, people find out he is more knowledgeable than you. After that Mo’tasem decided to kill Imam Jawad.
One day Yahya ben Aksam wanted to ask some questions, Mamun accepted and ordered Imam be present in the meeting. Imam Muhammad al-Jawad was seated beside al-Ma'mun on his throne face to face with Yahya ebn Aktham , who addressed the Imam thus: "Do you permit me to ask you a Question?" " Ask me whatever you wish , " said the Imam in the typical tone of his ancestors. yahya then asked the Imam, O what is your verdict about a man who indulges in hunting while he is in the state of Ehram." (In the code of religious law hunting is supposed to be forbidden for a pilgrim.)
The Imam at once replied , " Your question is vague and misleading. You should have definitely mentioned whether he hunted within the jurisdiction of the Ka`bah or outside; whether he was literate of illiterate; whether he was a slave of a free citizen; whether he was a minor or a major; whether it was for the first time of he had done it previously; also whether, that victim was a bird or some other creature; whether the prey was small or big; whether he hunted in the day or at night; whether the hunter repented for his action of persisted in it ; whether he hunted secretly of openly ; whether the Ehram was for ` umrah of for hajj. Unless all these points are explained no specific answer can be given to this question." al-Qadi Yahya was staggered in listening to these words of the Imam and the entire gathering was dumbfounded.
In his short life from becoming Imam at the age of eight and poisoning at the age of twenty five he published and taught trust about Islam and trained prominent disciples including Ebne Abi Amir Baqdadi, Abuja’far Mohammad ebn setan Zaheri, Ahmad Ebn Abi Nasr Bazanti Kufi, Abu Tamam Habib Us Taei, Abu-Al-Hasan Ali Ebn Mahziar Ahvazi and Fazl ebn Shazan Neishaboori.

A selection from his enlightening words is:
* Trust in Allah is a ladder for sublimit. Anyone who trusts in God, the Almighty will please him and anyone who relies on Him, God will make him self-sufficient.
* No one can consider himself secure from the retribution of God except those who are lost.
* Whoever benefits a man for the sake of Allah, will build a house for himself in Paradise.
* Do not doubt a friend whose friendship is based on faith and certainty, and whoever admonishes his brother in private, has honoured him and whoever admonishes his brother in public, has dishonoured him.
* The Will of God has preference over the will of people.
* Put your head on steadfastness, embrace poverty, reject the lusts, oppose your passions, and know that you cannot be out of God’s sight.
* The dignity of a faithful lies in his needlessness.
* God’s increasing gifts will be stopped when the servants stop showing Him gratitude.
